I don’t understand how to get a debug build as mentioned here [root] Updating shows error : "failed to read the configuration" · Issue #49 · researchxxl/syncthing-android · GitHub
Go to Actions
Filter workflows with branch:refactorRoot. And open the latest(first) run.
Scroll down to Artifacts and download the signed apk (second in the image below)

Thanks! That is very well hidden. 
I must be logged in to be able to download.
The build does not replace the original build but creates a second installation.
pls note that running scripts after sync is broken with the current root implementation as it was before i took the app

It appears you can no longer find this on the Actions tab. Is there another way to find the version that works with root?
That’s because old runs are cleaned up. I have triggered a new run. You can find the latest one now.
