Some time ago @nel0x said in the Syncthing-Fork repo of @researchxxl that they might add a new root permission to the app. With the change of the maintainer root permission had been removed. Thanks to repo contributors there is a CI branch that still contains the old root permission.
Are you @nel0x still involved in this repo or have you quit? If the latter, is there anybody else dealing with this issue in your @researchxxl repo?
