keys not in increasing order

Hi,

I’ve got a support ticket for Syncthing-Fork. Is this error expected to be already known and fixed in the latest v1.4.1-rc.3?

23:26:29 [GMFW6] WARNING: Database schema: leveldb/table: Writer: keys are not in increasing order: "\x01\x00\x00\x00\x00Camera/IMG_20181226_190237.jpg\x01\t\xe0h\x00\x00\x00\x00", "\x01\x00\x00\x00\x00Camera/IMG_20181226_160004.jpg\x01w\x92\x12\x00\x00\x00\x00"

Ref.: https://github.com/Catfriend1/syncthing-android/issues/621

I’d advise the user to upgrade to the RC build then.

That’s a completely borked db, nothing to salvage there.

Hello,

do you mean my error? Do I have to setup syncthing on my mobile again? What could lead to such error? (the issue which Catfriend1 mentioned was mine).

yes and it’s completely unrelated to the issue with sequences not in order.

Thanks for your reply. So I will do a clean install.

Are you interested in the broken db? I could send it to you, if you want to check it.

Is it possible to clear the database / delete all entries without setting up everything again?

Edit: ok, its so easy: Settings -> Errors? (‘Fehlerbehebung’) -> Reset Database

Thanks for asking but no, that error looks like db corruption and there’s nothing to learn from that. In general I would suggest faulty disk or memory, on Android it might be anything else as well.
