Greetings everyone, dear Devs, thank you so much for this application that makes life easier for many of us. Could you add the ability to…To access subfolders within Android/Data… This would be very useful for syncing save data from different emulators… Could Shisuku add this feature? I hope it will be a future feature.
I don’t run Android. I took a peek at the documentation for Shizuku, and I have the impression that it’s God Mode for that OS. It’s not at all clear to me how hard that would be to configure.
I did find one previous mention on this forum: Can't access /data folder .
Dont add Android/data yourself. Use syncthing home folder of syncthing tray (syncthing app). Its experimental but technically its inside the app folder in /data
Syncthing tray android version is experimental. I suggest adding one folder for bidirectional, one send only, one receive only, totaling to three. Too many folders will slow down or even crash your syncthing app.
You dont need to sync /data
Use AppManager by MuntashirAkon to backup your apps and export your apps list package names.
Shizuku use shell of adb. Its semi root without root warning.
Dont tread into immutable folders. Someone in material files GitHub issue mention you need to restart your phone for the storage to become normal. After going in and out of /data
This is also the case with RAM plus feature of samsung phone. Its swap or page file. Trading storage with ram size require restart. Dont use unconventional way. I learnt the hard way using syncthing to backup windows sata SSD to HDD, instead of linux PV comment.
