I’ve just finished the Esperanto translation
I’m still learning, so I need somebody with more experience to review my suggestions. If you know somebody who speaks Esperanto, please send her/him this way. It’s not a lot of work, a couple of people can review all the strings in 30 minutes, maybe less. Any help will be appreciated.
I can’t help you with revision, but one thing I “learned” translating syncthing:
Keep translations of “folder” (shared thing) vs “directory” (place on disk) consistent. Examples in my post. But maybe wait for some dev to respond to me because I’m not 100% sure of myself there.
Hey @chucic, that’s a good advice and it makes a lot of sense.
However, in Esperanto it seems both words have the same translation: dosierujo.
I will keep it in mind in case I find somebody to ask about it.
I’ve found an expert Esperanto speaker, who’s also an Ubuntu user, and he nicely agreed to help with the translation. How can we give him permissions to approve translations in transifex?
