So Im using sync thing on my laptop, home server and now my phone. The issue im having is on the phone, when entering the address of my home server (not the ID, but the domain name, home-server.com:22000) It doesnt connect. I use the exact same method for my laptop (I dont use global discovery server), but when I do use the global discovery on my phone, it does work. Is there an issue with putting in device names and port numbers in the syncthing Android app??
The current version of go for Android doesn’t support (bug i think) domain name resolution. You have to use the numeric IP address. Slated to be fixed in go 1.4 due out later this year last time I checked.
