Win to Linux changes permissions in 2020

HI, I use syncthing to sync my source code between win to linux, my source code has a file name run.sh, it has execution permission in linux, but when i sync it from win to linux, it lose execution permission.

I have look up some solution, such as: Win to Linux changes permissions , but i think it is not a good solution.

let’s see GIT, it will never change file permission in every platform, when i got run.sh execution permission in linux, i can get the same permission when i clone it to windows.

so, three years ago someone talk about this issue, can i get any new solution in 2020?

The thread you linked to is still precisely accurate. The fact that two of you have noticed this behavior with a few years in between apparently hasn’t resulted in anyone rushing to change it.
