Any idea how I set Syncthing to only use a specific NIC/IP on my NAS?
All my NICs are static IPs. I’m trying to set this so my router can sync via a specific WAN connection but I need Syncthing to be able to use the correct NIC.
Turns out I need to set that NIC to be the default gateway. Shsme there no option in Syncthing to actually bind the IP.
You can change the listen address to bind to a specific adapter, I think it’s covered by the docs.
However that doesn’t affect outgoing traffic which will still follow the routing table. Like any other program; this is how the network stack works.
