Update to 1.1.19 to 2.0.3 - Help - nothing work !

Hi everyone,

First off all, thank you for this awesome software who help me a lot in my job.

Today I just updating to current update through the red button in the GUI interface of synthing (Synctrazor App) .

After updating, nothing show up, nothing work, no folder, no device… Synthing is stop and I have this message in the console :

syncthing.exe: error: unknown flag -n, did you mean one of “-h”, “-C”, “-D”, “-H”?

How to get syncthing working again? Can I do a downgrade to 1.1.19? I aslo don’t want to lost all my current connections to my devises and folder…

Some of my logs :

You need SyncTrayzor v2: GitHub - GermanCoding/SyncTrayzor: Windows tray utility / launcher for Syncthing (v2 continued)

Thank you, I will test that. I will not lost my currents files and device connection?

For those who have the same issue, I was able to make it working again by deleting syncthing.exe in \AppData\Local\SyncTrazor\

LOG when I restarted the app :

[monitor] 11:32:54 INFO: Log output saved to file “C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Syncthing\syncthing.log” [start] 11:32:54 INFO: syncthing v1.18.1 “Fermium Flea” (go1.16.6 windows-amd64) teamcity@build.syncthing.net 2021-07-30 12:41:57 UTC [start] 11:32:54 INFO: Archiving a copy of old config file format at: C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Syncthing\config.xml.v37 [start] 11:32:55 INFO: Upgrade available (current “v1.18.1” < latest “v1.30.0”) [start] 11:32:56 INFO: Upgraded to “v1.30.0”, exiting now. [monitor] 2025/08/28 11:32:57 INFO: Log output saved to file “C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Syncthing\syncthing.log”

I would still recommend just installing SyncTrayzor v2 over what you’ve got now. It will carry on with your current configuration. Otherwise, with the old SyncTrayzor, you will be stuck with Syncthing v1.30 forever.
