Would like to move large files (movies(GB)) stored on the mobile to a PC.
Question: Does Syncthing support unidirectional synchronization? Or do you suggest a better approache?

No, it does not support it. It’s not a transfer application, its a sync application, meaning its goal is to make both sides look the same.

Shame cos it seems to be a great transfer application + for us the first sync is pretty much always a one way transfer, followed by a sync to reflect changes made at either end.
Being able to set as send only /receive only until folders match without out of sync errors would be great.
That is not a use case syncthing is made for.
Sounds like you are looking for rsync.
