Unable to change .stversions file path

I’m trying to change the directory of where my versions are kept (./.stversions) to a directory outside the synced one. (e.g. from /storage/emulated/0/sync-folder/.stversions to /storage/emulated/0/.stversions)

Interestingly, when trying this on my computer (they are synced together) changing the directory path seemed to work just fine.

I tried restarting the app, changing the new directory path, deleting the orginal .stversions, but none of that seemed to work.

Any suggestions, or further information I can provide, I will try to.

Are you using the Syncthing Fork app? I assume it doesn’t have proper permissions to access the new path (which is outside of the Syncthing folder in question).
