Ubuntu 22.04 - Trying to Sync to a SMB Network Share Drive

Hello! I am a new user and I was able to setup the tool and connect to the portal. I am able to sync without issue to local folders. I simply can’t find a way to reference the SMB network share drive and when I try, SyncThings creates a new directory that in Linux appears to mirror the path to the Network Share Drive (but is local).
Can someone provide some tips to help me sync to a SMB Network Share Drive? Please advise. Thanks all!

Welcome here @crlpred17 !

Syncthing can only use the normal filesystem. In the case of SMB this means that you must first mount the SMB share an then point Syncthing to the mount point or a directory under it.

While the above is possible, it is best to instead run Syncthing on the file server itself.
