i did enable the debug logging “model”,
paused and resumed my INSTALL folder, and the global state was okay then…
my friend replaced RC4 with RC5 candiate now…
still everything seems to be okay…
so somehow, the error went away before upgrading to RC5…

Would be nice if that translated to “anonymous omniscience” on the receiving side - unfortunately it doesn’t (it’s nice though, right: data.syncthing.net
