I have using hundred of syncing tool…

with my huge data about 5 million files to mirror to about 30 server… and I tried so many special behavior like rename folder , rename file, even if copy fils in the same folder…

rename folder => auto detected and without tranfering the file, I think it’s just do the checksum and binary compare to transfer differ block…

rename file => too…

copy files in the same folder => detected and do the binary check and without any data between internet transfer

I have never seem tool do the “copy files in the same folder” check … It awasome best syncing tool

It even does copies across folders, though not moves.

you mean it even across different share item ?? wow, in technical thinking it’s really can do it… awesome good again…:slight_smile:

I am also develope syncthing like tool , so I know syncthing very very good, some features done very well and perfect, and serveral years before, I am not doing so good…:slight_smile:

Yes, we can reuse parts from within files from other syncthing folders.
