Syncthing syncing entire Documents folder instead of one folder within Documents folder

I screwed up. I had things syncing nicely between all my devices but then got overconfident and played with things. Now, when I try to sync a single folder within my Documents folder, containing a single file, Syncthing is copying all the folders and files in the Documents folder into that one folder to sync with my other devices. For the life of me, I can’t remember what I did. I tried uninstalling Syncthing and then reinstalling and it seems like it remembers everything from the moment I uninstalled it. Any thoughts on fixing this will be greatly appreciated!

using Win 11 and Syncthing v1.29.

Can you post screenshots of the Syncthing Web GUI? Make sure that folder paths and other information are all visible.

I let it go ahead and finish syncing and when it was complete, the entire Documents folder was transfered to the other device, but no TopSecret folder with the Test file in it.

Thanks for your help, but I think I have it fixed. I kept pausing, then deleting the folders when this was happening. So, on my final attempt I let it go ahead and finish the syncing process. Then, I went into one of the folders and deleted all the extra files that were copied from the parent folder. Now everything seems to be working fine. I’m not touching a thing, I promise!
