syncthing stopped connecting between machines

(Vacore) #1

Hello,

I have syncthing installed on 2 machines with devices added to each other. Since recently the devices stopped connecting (always shown as Disconnected).

Among the logs of the 1st are:

Detected 1 NAT service

And then it never finds the other machine.

With the 2nd machine the logs:

New NAT port mapping: external TCP address 10.58.26.167:33765 to local address 0.0.0.0:22000. New NAT port mapping: external TCP address 10.58.26.167:42068 to local address 0.0.0.0:22000.

Is this supposed to be this way?

Let me know, if I can provide additional logs to help clear the issue…

Those messages are expected. Do you have relaying or any form of discovery disabled? Double check that the device ids are correct, and provide logs from both sides The web UI also shows discovered addresses for the other device, check if those make sense.

Not that I know of. It stopped working recently, I don’t remember making any major changes to the network configuration or the like.

Thank you for your help.

Your config seems fishy. Second device doesn’t even know about the other one, and they both print their own devive lines.

(Vacore) #5

Yeah, that’s what’s happening indeed, but I really changed nothing, synchronization just stopped working several days ago. How do I track the problem from here?

(Audrius Butkevicius) #6

Start by adding the first device on the second device and see if that makes it better. Can you also post screenshots from both devices expanding the other device?

(Vacore) #7

That wasn’t making any difference, I’ve waited for a while, and now it’s working again. Apparently that was about that censorship hype after all.

Thanks for support.
