Syncthing sometimes takes too long to sync files, is this normal?

Hey guys,

I started using Syncthing recently to sync files between my PC and laptop. Most of the time it works fine, but sometimes it takes a while to detect new files, even when both devices are online.

I already tried restarting Syncthing on both devices but it still happens sometimes.

Is there any setting I should check, or this is just normal behavior? Both devices are on the same wifi network btw.

How long is “too long”? By default, there’s a 10s delay when it comes to detecting new files and modifications, and a 60s delay for deletions.

Does it actually still detect the changes automatically, or do you need to force a rescan manually?
