What is the “safest/safe” way to sync files with Syncthing over internet?
It’s safe with the default config? just linking the devices and starting to sync folders?
Is there a better/safest way to do it?
Does Syncthing encrypt the files while transferring them over internet?
How this is equally safe or safer than Mega or Dropbox?
It’s safe by default. Connections are encrypted. There are some docs about security on the documentation site, but in short it’s about as secure as we can make it using industry standard tools and protocols.
