Is there an ETA for a dev branch or release?

How does keeping the MacOS ARM64 version updated work, does it update automatically to RC 2 / 3 / … or do I have to manually check for those?
What about when a release is out, will I get notification or will it auto-update to it for ARM64?
It updates the same as any other Syncthing release.
