SyncThing is Out of Sync

Good afternoon,

Hoping I can get some help here. Been looking on the internet for about 4 hours trying to solve this issue. Something changed on my Receiver Only side of SyncThing where its telling me its Out of Sync. Under Failed Items, I’m getting this message:

And on the specific files, an error stating:

image and then the file path, that ends with “input/output error”

Yes, these shouldn’t exist as I don’t want to resync these items as they will be duplicates.

Is there a way to ignore these as I’m showing 1873 items and I can no longer use SyncThing to pull anything new in.

I’ve tried choosing the “Revert Local Changes” red button, but I believe this ended up deleting actually files on my array and didn’t improve anything. No biggie, I’ll just redo those.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It is spelled “Syncthing”.

To me, this sounds like a problem with the storage medium. Failing hard drive?

Appreciate the name correction lol.

I do have 1 hard drive that is failing, but my parity has been fixing the array. The file path the error is pointing to is on my other drives on the array.

I pulled the log from Syncthing and it shows some more info, not sure if this helps:

If you see “input/output error”, it is most probably because of storage medium failures. You might have more than one faults…

I think i fixed the issue. Not sure how. I did an update to my Unraid server (it was only a few versions behind). Once it rebooted, everything starting syncing. Going to close this support entry
