syncthing error

syncthing is error with the remote device that I add still disconnected.

Noticable error that I got is the lookup proxy " [MCMRL] 04:01:02 INFO: Listen (BEP/relay): Get “https://relays.syncthing.net/endpoint”: proxyconnect tcp: dial tcp: lookup proxy.“xxx.xxx”: no such host

It’s probably because My computer used to run behind an internet proxy connection of proxy.“xxx.xxx”, not anymore though and I already remove the proxy setting on the network connection and even did reset the proxy setting: netsh winhttp reset proxy and show no proxy.

Can anyone help me.

Syncthing checks HTTPS_PROXY and HTTP_PROXY environment variables, it does not check windows settings.

Can you help me fix the error so the remote devices that I added can be connected?

I also set up another computer, new one as the server (never use proxy) and no noticeable error,

You haven’t fully undid what you did when you enabled the proxy. I told you want you need to do, you need to make sure the environment variables are not set.

I only enable proxy through LAN setting, which has been removed.

I also reset the proxy setting through cmd: netsh winhttp reset proxy and showed no proxy.

proxy 2

That is why I confused about why the proxy is showed up.

What else should I do?

Did you check the environment variables Audrius wrote about? windows 10 environment variables at DuckDuckGo

Did you restart the computer?

Of course, I restart the computer. I am using windows 7, so I am using this: https://www.nextofwindows.com/how-to-addedit-environment-variables-in-windows-7 Is that ok? It’s still not connected though.
