I have a workstation located behind an ADSL link used for off-site backup. The uplink is slow ~40kB/s and the data is ~110GB. Every time the computer is turned on this cause Syncthing to exchange the full status of the folders ~30MB in both ways.
Would it be possible to keep revisions of the db locally and only exchange the transactions since the last known revision? This could also be super useful for 3G/4G devices which have limited data.
