Default folder location is breaking my configuration. /storage/emulated/0/synchthing is breaking my folders because all my app folders are in the root of /storage/emulated/0 but their appears to be no way to change this! I can’t break my apps by moving folders under the stupid syncthing folder so basically what happens I can’t get it to work.
Tried creating folders manually in Android and have sync errors. Go into webgui in Android and it wants to create all new folders under that stupid syncthing folder! This breaks synchronization completely. Why the hell was this change done and how the heck can I get it to default to the 0 folder so it won’t keep creating useless sync folders that have nothing to do with my data?
As you can see from the image this is massive errors here.
In my case, I was able to keep my folders as /storage/emulated/0/foobar outside of the new syncthing home folder (~ now means /storage/emulated/0/syncthing). The trick was to update the path directly in the advanced settings. Backup your data before doing this.
Thanks and what a stupid design. Not to let us assign what we want ~ to be for defaults. We should have that as variable we can change! It was a pain in the ass to edit all 9 folders manually to /storage/emulated/0/ to each and every folder manually as you could not just select it you had to type it all in.
