I am new here. I found Syncthing while searching for a solution to sync my Lightroom catalog across multiple computers because I didn’t want to go the usual route such as using a cloud like Dropbox. I have successfully set up a sync for a test folder, but I really need to know how to set up a Lightroom backup to include exceptions as described here: http://artof2.com/sharing-a-lightroom-catalog-across-multiple-computers/ (although this was using BTsync). For example, I do want to sync my Lightroom 5 Catalog.lcat file but not the following which would normally be included in the backup file.

I am a PC user and the instructions on the link I provided using BTsync were for a Mac user. I would really appreciate some help with this as I am constantly working between 2 computers and really need a workable solution to sharing the Lightroom catalog.
