There are a lot of good tutorials on the web. It really depends on how familiar you are with containers in Proxmox VE (PVE). PVE 7 uses Linux Containers (LXC) which fits in between QEMU virtual machines and OCI/Docker/Podman containers, i.e. a LXC container is lighter than a full VM but heavier than app-oriented containers.
If you are already comfortable with PVE and LXC, there is really nothing different between installing Syncthing in a LXC container versus no container. The official Syncthing documentation and this forum should answer just about everything.
