Hi everyone,
I’ve been building syncding.com — a SaaS platform built around Syncthing.
The goal is to make Syncthing easier to deploy, manage, and operate for families, teams, companies, and larger multi-device setups.
What syncding provides:
-
Managed Syncthing instances for individuals, families, teams, or companies
-
Syncthing kept updated and securely maintained
-
Storage backed by ZFS
-
Automated immutable ZFS snapshots
-
Recovery of files, folders, or full rollback to earlier states
-
Additional off-region snapshot replication
-
Protection against ransomware through immutable snapshots
-
Glass-break emergency access via SFTP or Rsync
-
Centralized monitoring and administration
syncding is built on top of Syncthing — not a replacement for it.
The project is bootstrapped by engineers who genuinely use and love Syncthing themselves.
I’d love to hear feedback from the community:
-
What would you want from a hosted Syncthing platform?
-
What would make this useful or trustworthy to you?
-
What concerns would you have?

And of course, huge thanks and respect to everyone contributing to Syncthing.
