Sync stuck at different % on both devices

My configuration:

  • 1 Android phone (v1.18.3) an* d 1 Linux Mint computer (1.18.3).
  • No nested synced folder, no exclusions.
  • 1 folder in Send & receive mode
  • 1 folder unidirectional Linux => Android

What happened: Started syncthing for the first time in a few months.

  1. Sync stuck at 73% on both devices
  2. Rebooted both devices
  3. Sync stuck at 73% on the phone and 43% on the Linux
  4. Upgraded Linux client to 1.18.3 by adding the PPA.
  5. Same thing

Current situation:

  • stuck with above percentages
  • list of non-synchronized files contains only content from the unidirectional folder, most of them already exist on the Android device

Log file on Android is empty. Logs on the computer (after reboot and update):

Pausing the unidirectional folder unstuck the bidirectional folder.

(Will update if the unidirectional folder starts working after this sync ends.)

The problem is still there in the UI, but I checked manually and the sync occurs normally for new files. So, problem solved for my purpose, even though there is clearly something broken in an index file somewhere.
