I installed Syncthing on my TrueNAS server, but I’m experiencing a small (not serious) issue. This server is already 100% configured, but the status for some devices stays as “syncing…” even though there’s nothing to synchronize. Note: TrueNAS is connected to a Syncthing instance running on Windows 10. However, even when there aren’t any files left to sync, it keeps showing the “syncing” message as shown in the attached image. Does anyone know how to resolve this, or if there really is a solution, or is it just a Syncthing bug?
I will need to know more to try to help. Please show us the full Syncthing GUI from both TrueNAS and one of your Devices that it shares a Folder with, and expand both the peer Device and the Folder on both sides for the screenshot.
Did you recently update? Particularly did you update from Syncthing 1.x to 2.x ?
Yes, I did update it, but this issue has always been like this, even in the older version.
This first image is from TrueNAS.
And this second image is from the Syncthing instance installed on Windows, where the status for remote devices stays as “syncing” even though there are no files left to synchronize.
95% means there are deletes that haven’t been applied.
The other side is out of sync because it has local modifications.
