Sync local folders

Hi,

is there any possibility to sync local folders? I tried running two instances with different DeviceIDs but I get many handle errors then.

What errors did you get?

Running two instances should work and is the only possibility to sync locally with syncthing. Of course you have to set the ports manually, so that each uses a different port.

But using Syncthing for local sync is way slower than using a tool which is meant for that. Syncthing uses encrypted TCP connections, which are a total waste on local sync.

Thanks, I’ll try with different ports. Yes, but I do not want to use two different sync tools. Would be nice if Syncthing could also sync local files with one instance.
