Sync for new External Drives not fully syncing

We currently have Syncthing setup between a host device and multiple other computers within an AD controlled organization. The “host” or “core” is where these files are shared from. This device is a NAS (network attached storage) machine that runs on a linux-based system. I have limited information on this particular device but we manage the sharing through the web portal on another network device (IP Address followed by port number in web browser).

Most of these drives work without issue, however there are 4 drives now not entirely syncing. We’ve wiped them and restored the settings mirrored from a known working drive and so far results are good for 1/4 but we’re not quite fully syncing still. There are a total of ~80 devices currently set to sync (receive only) including these problem devices. I’ll be looking into testing a previous version but any advice is appreciated!

Ideally you’d check the UI for the outstanding files and sometimes the reasons. I had issues due to:

• Mismatch of file ignore: Solutions - use a shared ignore file via #include .syncthing-ignore-shared
• File system features mismatch (max path lengths, access property supports, etc.): Check syncthing folder options for this.
• An unclarified, probably bug (see my post Bug? "Remote Device" reports 10GB outstanding sync vs. "Up to Date" everywhere else; empty changes popup)

I have several NAS’s and PC’s in my network with one of my NAS as the hub. Inevitably, in my system, whenever I have syncing issues, I find that by having the ignore patterns being absolutely identical on all devices, the sync issues are solved.
