Sync folder from machine to external hardrive

Hi there,

I was hoping to sync some folders from my main machine to an external hard drive via a usb connection.

Is there a simple technique on doing this?

I’m new to this application, but I love it so far and I look forward to applying it to more of my workflow!

There is no simple way, but it can be done by running two separate instances of Syncthing. The synchronisation may not be as fast as with other, local folder sync tools, and you may also need a decent hardware to handle this (unless you tweak Syncthing to reduce its overhead, etc.).

Yeah, this application is for remote operations, not for local.
