So before the reverse proxy setup I was downloading from my seedbox at around 100 Mbps. Now with my reverse proxy setup (Caddy with duckdns) I’m getting around 5 Mbps
what’s going on and how do I fix this?

There is too little information provided to really say anything. Can you show screenshots of the Syncthing web GUI from both sides? My initial assumption would be that the devices are connected through a relay.
what specifically are you wanting to see there? the GUI looks just the same as before.
Synology NAS with syncthing setup to download from a seedbox. Speeds were shit until I did the last update. Now 100Mbps.
setup a reverse proxy yesterday and turned off Upnp on my router. ports 443 and 80 open only. Now Syncthing still connects but download speed has dropped to 5Mbps
Why?
Screenshots from both web UIs please. Are you getting a direct connection or one via relay?
Specifically, we need to see what is shown under “This Device” and also under the remote device in question.
Can you please provide essentially to be same screenshots again, but this time with expanded Remote Devices as well.
A few observations:
thanks for the help but I’m going to just use chatgpt to help me setup and automated script to use rsync to automatically download. Syncthing isn’t what I’m looking for.
