Send Device ID with mail... (new .v1.22.2 feature)


Any use case for the buttons “Send by mail”/“Send by SMS” for a detected device selected in “+Add Remote Device”/“Add Device” dialog ? So, you guess this device is not in my yet-added-devices list below “Remote Devices”.

I found myself wondering about the same thing recently. But I don’t think we need a specific use-case to justify the buttons in that situation. They are simply always present next to a field for entering a device ID.

I could imagine opening the “Add Remote Device” dialog the see discovered IDs, while talking to someone about which device they should be adding. Even if I don’t intend to add it myself, just looking at the dialog to see the discovered list. Probably not very common, but also not completely useless.
