Running privileged or system user (WD MyCloud)

My question is specific to Syncthing running on a WD MyCloud NAS.

I get the message about “Syncthing should not run as a privileged or system user…”, but I’m not sure how I can change this, there are no options during install with the WD MyCloud Web UI.

Syncthing v1.29.5, Linux (64-bit Intel/AMD)
