Yes, I already tried the command

“syncthing generate --gui-password=myNewPassword --gui-user=newUserName”, it says

the 3 locations in the FAQ?

$XDG_STATE_HOME/syncthing
$HOME/.local/state/syncthing
$HOME/Library/Application Support/Syncthing
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Syncthing

I am not being able to find them. I just installed Syncthing a few days ago so it’s most likely the latest version, Debian-based Linux computer.

The location should either be $XDG_STATE_HOME/syncthing or $HOME/.local/state/syncthing. Please keep in mind that the .local folder may be hidden by default in your file manager, so make sure to “show hidden files and folders” (if there is such an option available).
