I have several retired computers listed as devices on my Sync. One of those is a computer setup as an introducer. When i try to remove several of the old devices i receive the message that the computer will be reintroduced by the introducer computer. How to remove the introducer computer first so then i can remove the other retired computers.
Does the message actually prevent you from removing the devices? If no, then I’d just proceed, especially if the introducer itself is long gone. There used to be a bug that prevented removing such devices, but it was fixed a long time ago (see https://github.com/syncthing/syncthing/issues/5426), unless you are on Debian/Ubuntu and using the old version of Syncthing that they provide. If that’s the case, then you will need to upgrade (see https://apt.syncthing.net).
It seems to be working and i am able to remove the retired machines. Thanks for your response.
