Recommended way to automate folder shares

Hi there,

I have been reading through the forum looking to determine the best way to restore my shared folders if I ever reload one of my machines. I can see many people have taken slightly different approaches (and some of them are from a few years ago).

TLDR;

  1. Is it possible to automate the setup of shared folders?
  2. And what is the recommended way (if possible) for the current versions?

I suggest backing up the config and certificates.
