"readdirent: input/output error"

Hi, have 2 systems which have a shared dir(it also contains a shared subdir) to sync:

  1. System -OS: Archlinux -FS: exFat -VERSION: syncthing v1.1.3 “Erbium Earthworm” (go1.12.4 linux-amd64) builduser@svetlemodry 2019-05-08 19:50:02 UTC)

  2. System -OS: Ubuntu -FS: ext4 -VERSION: syncthing v0.14.43-ds1 “Dysprosium Dragonfly” (go1.9.3 linux-arm) debian@debian 2018-02-06 04:01:09 UTC [noupgrade]

On the 1. System i get the error " readdirent: input/output error" on a specific directory called (‘Stochastik für Informatiker’).

I then used WIN 10 disk repair-tool to repair that disk. When i now started syncthing again the same error occoured.

Other folders are sync perfectly fine by syncthing.

Could that error be related to the file name. Because of the whitespaces and the “ü” ?

Rename it and see what happens.
