Process for promotion to Member

Is there a process to be promoted to a Member status?

I am asking because usually on Discourse servers there is a “cooldown time” between the moment someone signs in, and can make actions such as editing a post after some time or marking answers as solutions.

I usually come back to my posts to update them with relevant information (this is the least I can do when receiving voluntary help) but the edit is usually frozen after 15 minutes. Same for marking answers as solutions (which is really helpful for other readers)

These are the Discourse trust levels with their defaults. Afaik the conditions are adjustable, but I don’t think this forum differs significantly from the defaults.

Indeed. (We have slightly more liberal criteria for TL3 than the defaults because we’re a small community, otherwise it’s all Discourse defaults.)
