I’ve two hosts in the same LAN, and on the UI, they each show each other’s private address (instead of their public IP addresses).
Is this because they are on the same LAN? Will they still communicate properly once on of them leaves the LAN?

It’s because that’s the address that worked.

If one side has an open port they will still be able to communicate when they leave the lan (I can’t remember whether a restart of syncthing will be necessary though).
