Poll: Syncthing-Android: Github Releases

With the recent addition of syncthing-android to F-Droid, I feel like the releases on Github are obsolete, especially considering that these have to be updated manually by users, and require extra effort by me.

With the next release, I plan to not post apks to Github any more, only changelogs.

Please tell me what you think about this.

External poll because I can’t make one here

I like the F-droid option. It is convenient and will encourage anything adoption. The only downside I see at the moment is that it doesn’t include the latest beta version.

It should be possible for F-Droid to also release beta versions.

But I agree, beta versions will probably still go on Github for the foreseeable future.

Beta versions are now also supported on F-Droid. If versions are missing in the future, it is probably due to a build error. Please notify us and we will fix it.

Awesome, thank you

Unfortunately, the introduction week here at Aalto took up all my time and I didn’t get anything done. Maybe this will get better once lectures start, but I will have to see^^
