Pinging antonymale.co.uk from Windows app

Just installed the Windows SyncTrayzor app on Windows 10. Works great! I wanted to know though, why the app pings antonymale.co.uk? As I understand it Antony is the maintainer of the Windows SyncTrayzor app.

I can’t see the packets that were sent unfortunately, so I just want to know what exactly is being sent to antonymale.co.uk? I imagine it’s probably something like an install notification, right?

It’s probably an update check

They host an update check there:

I glanced at the source code and it seems the update check sends the current SyncTrayzor version, system CPU arch (ARM, AMD64…) and a “variant” to the update server.
