Permission issue with the dot folder

On the first host I’ve initiate the folder pointed to existing folder .password-store.

On the second host I’ve received the invitation to add this folder to synchronize. In the dialog I’ve set the same path: .password-store. That’s where I got a message:

Faild to create folder root directory mkdir /home/megas/.password-store: permission denied

Then I’ve recreate the invitation and set path without dot: password-store and everything is working fine.

So it seems to me, Syncthing doesn’t like dot at the beginning of name folder.

Bug or feature?

That error is coming from the OS not syncthing.
