May I suggest a single pause button on the main screen that when tapped will pause syncthing thereby preserving power.

May I suggest a single pause button on the main screen that when tapped will pause syncthing thereby preserving power.
For now, you can use the Web GUI to simply pause all remote devices. This is more efficient than pausing and restarting folders, and it also effectively blocks any synchronisation from happening.
On Android, the Web GUI is accessible from the left slide-out menu. There is also an option in the app settings to launch into the Web GUI by default.
Ideally, this would be available from the persistent notification. Instead, I have to

I’m currently porting Syncthing Tray to Android. Mainly for fun but also to address some usability issues like that. I also have already had the idea of making the persistent notification actually useful by adding buttons for starting/stopping, pausing/resuming and rescanning and a better status summary - just like it is already provided by Syncthing Tray on the desktop.
So far I usually just start/stop the app as needed. This is faster than going though all these steps.
