It would be great to have a P2P privacy-focused location sharing app with no middle-man server needed, that would come in handy to keep trusted family/friends sharing location for Find My Device situations and personal safety/security.
It can leverage torrent/syncthing type protocols to cut out the middle man servers, and be E2EE encrypted like Signal messages.
