I use syncthing to keep my music library on my phone in sync with the music library on my computer.
There are some tracks that syncthing refuses to copy seemingly without explanation.
I have had a peruse through the log but I can’t see anything relevant.

Ahh, that’s quite annoying. I appreciate that it perhaps isn’t relevant here but are you aware of a tool that would allow me to quickly rename every file and directory in that directory to only use supported characters
I though ST did the so-called normalization to prevent that kind of issues…
If you’re running a linux on a convenient side, you could use “gprename” or a cron bash with sed or find+command to forget this.
No it doesn’t. It turns out that for a kind of “set and forget” tool like Syncthing there is no safe way to do that. I suggest you search the forum if you are interested in more details.
