Out of Sync folders

I am new to syncthing and trying to connect 3 devices.

Device A is the “Master” and should sync to 2 others. Device B has already around 80% Device C has around 50%

I added some folders and copied the ID to Device B, creating there same folders with same content. Set A to send only, B to receive only.

The target is to have many to many setup.

After Device A and B were 100% synced on 4 folders i connected Device C to A and B. Created the same 4 folders with the same IDs. Set Device B in the folder to send & receive, Device A stayed on send only. By surprise Device A has now 2 folders that are ouf of sync (while beeing send only!!). How is that possible that the send only device is out of sync?

Honestly, the explanation is a bit too convoluted to follow. It would be helpful if you could state in points what exactly you’ve done to reach the current state. Some screenshots of the Syncthing Web GUI would be useful too.

Also, if you copied the Device ID from one device to another (so that they have the same Device ID and therefore certificate): Don’t do that. Seriously — each device should have its own.

If what you meant to say is that you copied the device ID of Connected Devices, that’s fine.
