On demand sync feature

Hi

I guess this is a FR. It would be nice if the Android client could let the user sync repos on demand. For instance all the repos timing could be set to 0 and ST client on Android syncs only when the user taps on the giant red “SYNC NOW” button.

That’s already in the issue tracker, though it’s been there for a long time.

Syncthing-gtk can do it (stopping sync). I hope the Android client can catches up on that front.

You can’t stop a folder, you can stop a device, unless gtk does some black magic (removing folders) which I am sure its not doing.

Yeah not sure, but it seems to offer a stop feature.

Stop syncthing all together, ala switch it off, or stop a specific device.
