Just so it appears in search results: The Obsidian Waypoint plugin generates an index based no files underneath. So if there is a sync and underneath a file is created like sync-conflict then it gets it an eternal loop with a gazillion .sync-conflict files created in the folder where every new file expands the automatically generated index based on files in the list.
Since the Waypoint plugin monitors and auto-updates its table of contents page, it’s going to create conflicts if Obsidian is running on multiple devices all sharing the same Syncthing folder. It will be the same issue regardless of if it’s Syncthing, Dropbox, or any other file sync system.
