No sync between different versions?

I run syncthing-fork 1.29.2 on Android and Syncthing 1.28.0 on Linux. They do sometimes sync, but it’s very unreliable. Are there limitations to compatibility between those versions, or might this be caused by some other issue?

The two versions should work fine together, however, if possible, I’d suggest upgrading the Linux side to v1.29.2 as well and see if that makes any difference.

Is the Linux side running natively or deployed via docker etc?

Natively.

I’m trying to figure out if there’s a good way to do that. But it may have to wait until May, when the next update comes around.
